It all began in 2018 when my 11-year-old Australian Shepherd started spending more time on the injury list than competing in agility. Seeking a way to keep my competition-loving dog engaged, I discovered scent work—and we never looked back! I created these scent work vessels to be as practical as they are fun, and they have been rigorously tested by both my own dogs and my students. This 2” ball can be hung inside or outside. It separates to store q-tips or loaded cotton balls so the dog can get accustomed to reaching up for scent. I have used this outside with the wind coming towards us so he can get a good whiff from a distance. Comes in the obvious (to the dog) colors Yellow or red, or more obscure brown.
